Tignes, perched at a high altitude, often opens its slopes as early as November, offering ski enthusiasts early access to exceptional conditions. This resort, neighboring Val d'Isère, provides an expansive playground, ideal for adventure-hungry skiers and snowboarders. 
Similarly, Val Thorens, the highest ski resort in Europe, stands out by opening its doors early in the season, usually by mid-November. Thanks to its privileged altitude, Val Thorens guarantees optimal snow cover, allowing skiers to hit the slopes well before winter officially begins. The Val d'Isère ski area will be accessible on 30/11. Known for its vast off-piste areas, Val d'Isère attracts freeride enthusiasts from around the world. In early December, head to the 3 Valleys domain. This much-anticipated date will mark the start of the winter season for the iconic resorts of Courchevel and Méribel. These two renowned destinations will open their doors to ski enthusiasts who can indulge in the year's first descents.
