Arc 1600: the legacy of Charlotte Perriand
An emblematic figure of 20th century architecture, Charlotte Perriand left an indelible mark on Les Arcs. During the creation of the resort, Robert Blanc called on Charlotte Perriand to create an eternal link with the village of Arc 1600. For the urban planning project, the architect with the innovative vision redefined our perception of space. Its residences have the particularity of being perpendicular to the mountain, with staggered balconies to offer a breathtaking view on each floor.
Harmoniously integrated into the natural setting, Charlotte Perriand’s constructions allowed to integrate the architecture into the mountain environment, without compromising with aesthetics.
